In the beginning of July 2018, part of the HR Award project team visited Liege University, the successful HR Award holder. We met with Isabelle Halleux, the Research and Innovation Executive Director, who is European Commission HR Award assessor and active & helpful ambassador of the project at the same time. Besides Isabelle, we also met part of her team that was involved in the HR Award process. We received some tips and advice that will assist us in the first project phase we are currently working on very diligently – the preparation of Gap Analysis and Action Plan. We also learned about best practices and experience for the implementation phase, namely for postdoctoral recruitment and career development programs.

In May 2024, we launched an analytical phase of the project "Introducing a Flexible Working Culture and a Support System for Parents on Maternity and Parental Leave into the Working Environment of the MU Faculty of Science" as part of the Employment Plus Operational Programme (OPZ+). This phase includes a gender equality audit, featuring structured individual and group interviews with our employees, led by an auditor.
