Exhibition of citrus and other subtropical and tropical useful plants

The traditional sales "Exhibition of citrus and other subtropical and tropical useful plants" will be held from Wednesday 18 October to Sunday 22 October 2023, daily from 9:00 to 17:00 in the greenhouses of the Botanical Garden of the Faculty of Science of Masaryk University, Kotlářská 2 in Brno. Experienced growers will be present at the exhibition and will be happy to give advice on plant care.

The citrus exhibition will also include an exhibition of mushrooms currently growing. It will be organized and described by Mgr. Petr Hrouda, Ph. D., mycologist from the Department of Botany and Zoology of our faculty. Only in case of unfavourable weather for mushroom growth, this exhibition will not be held.

On Sunday, 22 October, we are preparing an event called "Tea Afternoon" in cooperation with the Brno Chajovna. You can look forward to tasting different types of tea, a photo exhibition, talks about tea and the pleasant atmosphere of the greenhouses. The tea afternoon will run from 13.00 to 17.00.
