The principal aims of the joint research are (a) to develop new ways of detecting of nucleic acids bases using transfer technique in connection with elimination and stripping voltammetry, (b) to study short oligonucleotides in dependence on their sequence and length and (c) to use elimination voltammetry with linear scan and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy in oligonucleotides and nucleic acids analysis. Analysis will be performed at mercury and solid electrodes. It is expected that the results obtained in this project will be utilized as a simple sensitive and selective analytical procedures for the determination of nucleic acids and their components. The advatage of these analytical procedures consists in the possibility to modify electrodes by nucleic acids and oligonucleotides. Obtained results will be applied in various fields of biophysics, biochemistry and molecular biology.
